In the Ayrshire town of Ardrossan on Castle Hill the remnants can still be found of the once great castle of the Mongomerys. The spot is reputed to be haunted by the spirit of William Wallace the Scottish patriot who was executed in London in 1305. The castle was once the home of a sorcerer known as THE DEIL O ARDROSSAN. It has been reported that on dark stormy nights Wallaces great figure has been seen momentarily as the lightning flashes. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DobNpRYML2M
